Annual Meeting February 5, 2008 - 9:00 Am Studio in LRC-2 at College of the Siskiyous, 800 College Avenue, Weed, CA
Agenda - Per By Laws, the board shall hold an annual meeting for the purpose of organization, election of officers, and transaction of other business in February of each year.
Call to Order
Roll Call - Present were: Audra Gibson, Judith Conrad, Barbara Dillman, Todd Cory. Steve Crow was out of town/excused.
There was a motion unanimously passed by the board to set the number of board members at seven (7) for the coming year.
The board discussed setting a policy for staggering board positions. The suggestion is to set 4 positions for a 2-year term, 3 for a one-year term, effective with today’s election. Thereafter, the policy to be submitted will be for all board member terms to be two years. Section 4 of Bylaws will need to be amended with the change.
Nominating Committee Report and Recommendations for Board Elections
The board unanimously approved the election of Greg Messer, Steve Crow and Barbara Dillman to a 2-year term. The Board unanimously approved the election of Judith Conrad, Audra Gibson and Todd Cory to a one-year term. There remains one vacancy on the board.
Election of Officers – President must be a board member
The Board unanimously approved the recommendation of the Nominating Committee for the following offices:
President - Judith Conrad
Secretary – Audra Gibson
Treasurer – Barbara Dillman
Other Business of the Organization to follow in regular meeting
