What is a PSA?
Public service announcements (PSA's) are broadcasts in the public interest. They are written or video messages designed to focus public attention on important issues. PSAs are non-commercial, non-denominational, and non-political. PSAs may be used to convey general information, announce a public event, or seek new resources or clients.
Television, radio, and print media often run some form of PSAs as a community service. Local media outlets are ideal to get your message out, as well as video links on websites on the Internet.
Siskiyou Media Council can help you get your message out! Do you have an event you'd like to promote? Want to inform your community about your services? Looking to increase your volunteer and financial base? Interested?
